Sales Representative Microbiology & Diagnostics
Overview: The primary objectives are to raise the profile of the company in the microbiology and diagnostic community, present the products in a competitive way and ensure customer satisfaction during and post-sale.
Manage the Microbiology & Diagnostic sales in South Africa as a sales representative:
Channel and control the activities for constant growth
Responsible for managing and driving the annual business plan for M&D sales in South Africa
Execute an own quota of M&D new order bookings for South Africa by:
Finding new customers in clinical and industrial settings using a variety of tools ranging from personal networking to internet searches.
Contributing to marketing activities such as composing advertisements and mailings.
Qualifying potential sales leads by discussion with and understanding of the customer’s needs.
Arranging and hosting customer demonstrations in the South Africa demo center.
Generate quotations and handle relevant SA tendering processes.
Manage public and private tender submissions.
Negotiate pricing in collaboration with the parent factory and management and close deals with customers.
Arrange Exhibitions and Seminars at conferences in the territory.
Maintain a relationship with existing customers and manage post-sale activities.
Market observation and analysis, as well as the active reception of customer demands and interests, which may lead to an improvement of our solutions and offerings.
Report to the Regional Sales Manager
BSc or equivalent in Microbiology, Life or Analytical Science with some postgraduate experience, either in diagnostics or industry.
Current valid driving license.
No visa disqualification from the USA or EU.
Competencies in Analytical technologies and Sales is required
An understanding of microbiology and diagnostics.
Must be fluent in English
Basic salary negotiable up to R60000 plus Company car, Co cell phone, Fuel card, Annual Incentive
